Women workers of “Center to Prevent Violence Against Women” harassed

11 women workers from “The Center to Prevent Violence Against Women” have come forward with a deposition to the Attorney General in Bursa province complaining of assaults and harassment by the head of the institution.

The entire work force in the government controlled center are women. The head, Tayfun Erol, reportedly harassed the women physically and verbally.

The Ministry of Family, Work and Social Services has opened an investigation and the male manager has been suspended pending investigation on the charges.
